Special-Vehicle Parking Exception - April 15 to November 15
Special-Vehicle Parking Exceptions are only reviewed and granted between April 15 and Nov. 15 each year.
Special-Vehicle Parking Exceptions are a short term exception that may be granted for vehicles that are not eligible for regular parking considerations such as:
- Vehicles over 6.7 m in length or 2.6 m in height
- School buses
- Commercial buses/coaches
- Moving trucks
In order for a vehicle to qualify for an Special-Vehicle Parking Exception these conditions must be met:
- Applications must be submitted 5 business days prior to the exception date being requested.
- Applications must be requested for dates between April 15 and Nov. 15.
- Exceptions will not be granted for derelict vehicles, unlicensed vehicles and immobile trailers)
Please Note: The application fee for this request is NOT refundable.
Applications requested before April 15 or after Nov. 15 will not be considered and fees will not be refunded. Do not submit your application unless you meet all of the conditions listed above. Not all applications will be granted.
